Friday: Dreaded Day to Watching a Ghost Movie

T______T yeh... since my mother tongue paper is done and there's nothing else to do... my teacher's pop in a movie featuring the living dead of a pregnant woman murdered by her rapist. T____T i brought my storybook to take my mind off the screams and shrill laughter in the background and the scary faces that i had Rika-chan's back of her head to help me hide it out of my sight... X______X;;;;;;

It was also another thankful thought that nobody laughed at me for it.

Konnichiwa minna-san!! ^_^ Just got back from my first two days of N Levels and i'm feeling a little scared, stressed out but also damn hyper because I'll be having almost a whole month without waking up damn early just for exams. -.-''' okay... let me stop my rambling and get on with what i'm dying to do since yesterday.

^_^ this is my Part II of the D.N. Angel Ficcy i wrote from Sunday's post... issit Sunday? Erhmm... nevermind. So anyways, here it is... and as usual, it might be long. ^^;;; Enjoy!

= Lost Time =

** Part II **

(3rd POV!!)

Putting on her uniform and combing her long honey hair into place, she checked her stomach wounds from yesterday. It was horrible. Everything went by so quickly that she didn't even get to see who the two thieves were. It's either both of them were after their personal stuff or the Angel Harp that her father's boss gave.

They were robbed.

Well... practically both of them are after it but one of the two... took something damn personal to her. The necklace Kira gave it to her before he left for the mission and it made her so pissed off. It was getting good since her father managed to call the police but all they could do was apologise and tell them that they're not the only ones going through the same thing.

Sigh...

"Ohayou!!" Riku's voice echoed in her ears as she peeked out from her room and smiled lightly, "Riku-"

She furrowed her eyebrows; there were two Rikus except that one has short hair and the other had long hair.

"Risa!" Riku growled and whapped her sister who was glompaging Yoshimi's brother.
Kouji stared at Risa, "You're twins!"
Riku nodded and whispered to Kouji's ear, "Don't worry... she's boy crazy..."
Risa growled, "I heard that!"
Yoshimi smiled lightly and grabbed her bag from the cupboard, "... Had your breakfast?"
Riku smiled, "Naw... Lunch in school is great! You won't want to have breakfast, trust me!"
Risa nodded, "Sides, Satoshi said that he'll bring breakfast for all of us today!" she piped in.

Yoshimi looked over to a light-blue haired boy leaning against her doorway; typing something onto his mini palmtop. Somehow, she felt as if she recognised him from somewhere and that she had saw him before. She furrowed her eyebrows and shut her eyes before turning over to Riku and sighed silently.

"... Classmate?"
Riku nodded, "KYUUU!!"

Yoshimi looked over to the stairs and smiled; her older sister was going down the stairs with a new found pet called Wizu. A cute white furball that they found from heaven knows where and it started to like Murasaki than anybody else. Then, Kouji looked around the house and noticed few more people coming in as if they lived here.

"Since when did our house became the limelight for you guys?!" he stared at Satoshi who was gaping at Wizu and Daisuke who was bouncing on at the walkway to the house.
"SINCE YOU MOVED IN!" said another voice.
"Wah!" Kouji yelled and almost fall over from shock, "Wha-"

Takeshi Saehara, from the same school began telling Kouji all his theories about ghosts and how the land has been shaking because of electricity flowing in the soil. Kouji stared at him and just nodded without even really paying any attention to him.

Yoshimi sighed and slipped on her school shoes, "... I'm going..."
"We're going with ya!" Riku spoke from behind her.
"Hai!!" squealed Risa who was clinging hardly onto Satoshi.

Yoshimi stared at the two sisters before giving them a slow nod and stepped out to the sidewalk, "Ano... is it true?" a soft voice spoke as she turned her head around to see Daisuke tilting his head to her with curiosity.
"... What is?" she replied softly.
"Your house... it was robbed!" Daisuke chirped; sounding as if the burglary was a good thing, "Yesterday night when I was asleep, I heard a loud noise and a couple of people arguing. Did the robber took your violin away...?"
Yoshimi sighed and looked down, "Yea- how did you know about the violin my father had?" Yoshimi stared at him with a hint of suspicion.
Daisuke smiled even brightly, "Riku told me about it!"
"Oh..." Yoshimi sighed and looked down again.

There it goes again. The same feeling she had when she saw Satoshi back at her house. The same feeling that she felt during the burglary last night. Dark Mousy was his name. He took Yoshimi's necklace, her sister's personal diary, her mother's wedding ring, her father's palmtop and her brother's CDs - even the telephone so that the family were not able to call the police.

"Did your father call the police up or anything...?" Daisuke spoke.
"Yeah... first thing in the morning..." Yoshimi spoke; still looking down, "They said they had come across the same thing and that they're working on it... Not only the violin that was stolen..."
Daisuke managed to laugh gently, "What did that fellow stole, apart from the violin?"
Yoshimi sighed, "Loads... mostly from my brother..."
Daisuke stared at her, "That sucks..."
Yoshimi shut her eyes, "Yeah..."

Slowly, all of them reached their class. Everybody was bustling in and out and they were either whispering about school or about Dark's latest attack at the Uehara Household. Yoshimi shut her eyes and hurriedly sat down beside Daisuke; digging her face to her school bag.

"Thanks..."
Daisuke settled himself behind his desk and placed his bag on the table, "No prob-" He was about to take his pencil case out when several Linkin Park CDs fell out from his bag and to the floor, "-blem..." he stared at the fallen CDs.
"Cool! You listen to rock music!" Saehara popped from behind him as Yoshimi glanced down and stared at it.
"How did..." she slowly looked up to Daisuke.
He stared hard at he, "No idea..." he began digging inside his bag and took out her sister's diary and everything else that Dark stole from her family.

Yoshimi was confused. How did Daisuke get these when it was a different-

She stared at the object harder before grabbing hold of it and held it up to Daisuke's face, "HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET THIS?!" she paused before looking down then up to Daisuke; suddenly remembering the colour of Dark's eyes, "... You... you were the one who took them... and the violin!"
Daisuke was panicking, "Err..."
Yoshimi was furious; her blood boiling, "... How dare you..."
Daisuke shook his head, "Wait! I was asleep last night!" he paused, "I couldn't be the thief!"
Yoshimi stared at him; feeling tears forming in her eyes - she was this close to trusting Daisuke and he ended up to be the thief who stole her necklace, "Daisuke would never steal!" Risa spoke up and a wave of voice echoed in her mind.

Yoshimi winced and hurriedly grabbed her things and stuffed them inside her bag before grabbing hold of her bag and runs out of the class.

Daisuke's eyes widened as he ran out as well, "Matte ne!"
"GET THE HELL AWAY FROM ME!" Yoshimi yelled; not turning around as she ran faster.
Daisuke stared at her before slowing down to a stop as he watched her run away, "... ARGGHHH!!" he punched a nearby wall; thinking back on what he has done.

Yoshimi sobbed as she slowed down to a stop and looked down to the floor; tears welling up in her eyes as Hara popped out from her backpack, "Haro!" it squealed brightly.
"... Let's go, Hara..." she sobbed silently.
"... Pretty girls like you shouldn't cry..." a voice rung in her ears.
Thinking that it was Daisuke; she turned her head away and clenched her fists, "... Leave me alone..." her voice was coarse and dry.
"That's the first time I hear you say that to me...!" a familiar voice echoed as Yoshimi's eyes widened.
Turning around, she was face-to-face with...
"Kira...?" she managed to choke out.
Kira smiled gently, "Hai..."
Lacus suddenly popped out from behind Kira, "Kira was so upset so we decided to pay ya a visit!"

Then, Nicol, Athrun, Yzak, Dearka, Rika and Nami popped up. Yoshimi was both shocked and relieved that she finally gets to see them again. She missed them so much...

"Why are you running out of class, anyways?" Kira spoke; wrapping an arm around Yoshimi.
Yoshimi stared at him, "Oh uhm..." she paused, "I uhmm... something came up..."
Kira smiled, "I don't believe ya..." he paused, "We came all the way here to visit ya and the least you could do is hide your problems from us!"
Yoshimi sighed, "Sorry..."
"You better tell or Kira will go into his oh-so-famous-angsty mode..." Nami spoke sarcastically.
Yoshimi smiled lightly, "Naw, someone stole a few stuff from my new place and that person happened to be my classmate..." she paused and frowned, "He lied to me... so I got angry... And ran out eventually..."
Nami gaped at her, "What?!"
Yoshimi smiled and held up her bag, "But I got them back...!"
Lacus tilted her head, "Ano, do you have any proof that the person is really the one who stole it?"

Hearing her voice repeating itself in her head made her realise how hurt Daisuke is feeling at the moment. He could feel his pain and embarrassment and the feeling of accusation burning in his body.

She felt regret... dreadful regret...

"... I guess..." she looked down; finger the straps of her brown bag.
Lacus twirled around happily; her skirt making a halo, "You shouldn't accuse people without proper evidence..."
"... True... But I got angry and... well..." she paused, "I blew up on him..."
Lacus smiled, "The you should apologise!" she paused, "Have you seen how the thief looked like?"
Yoshimi slowly opened her eyes and stared at the ground, "There were two who came..." she paused, "Both had different eye and hair colour..."
"Did that eye colour match with your classmate's eye colour...?" Lacus pressed on; trying to make a point.
Yoshimi turned her head to her, "Dang, I hear someone coming..." Nami spoke up, "It must be your teacher or something who came to look for you..."

Yoshimi looked over and could make out a shadow by a wall. She sighed as she looked over to her friends. They were leaving... not staying...

"We better go now..." Lacus chirped and grabbed Athrun's hand, "We'll try and visit later ok?"
Yoshimi pouted cutely, "Mou..."
Athrun waved, "Take care!"
Kira smiled and kissed Yoshimi gently before running off with the gang, "Ja..." Yoshimi sighed.

Yoshimi slid on her bag and was about to walk away when she suddenly looked back to her class and to the walkway leading out the school. She sighed and turned towards the hallways to the classes.

"I have a lot of apologising to do..." she whispered to herself.

She was looking down on the floor that she didn't notice Daisuke catching sight of her and walking further away from her. She sighed heavily and finally looked up as she stepped inside her class; feeling horribly ashamed of herself.

"Ara ara... daijoubu?" Risa peered down to her; flooding her with colourful candy on her desk.
Yoshimi stared at the table-ful of candy, "Ehh... ahh... Daijoubu daiyou..." she sighed and looked down; her honey fringes hiding her eyes, "Gomen..."
Risa smiled, "Don't say sorry to me..." she paused, "Go apologise to Daisuke, okay?"
"I know what I'm supposed to do..." she turned her head around to the empty seat beside her, "But he's-"
"HAI! HAI! GET TO YOU SEATS!" a familiar voice echoed in the class.
Yoshimi's eyes widened, "Onee-chan?!" Risa smiled, "Ara!! Murasaki-chan!" and got back to her seat as Murasaki settled her chemistry textbooks to the teacher's desk.
"I will be your new teacher replacing your previous one..." she sat down and grabbed a huge textbook from her pile.
Riku smiled, "Ohayou... SENSEI!" she waved; teasing her.
Murasaki smiled and waved back, "Right then!" she flipped her book open, "Turn to page 104..."

After long minutes of arguing on whether to buy new books and negotiating that books are the students' first priority over make-up... Yoshimi turned around and whispered to Riku; hearing the whole book topic turning into a bishounen talk about Dark Mousy.

"I'm going to find Niwa-san..." she stood up and left quietly; noticing her sister getting distracted by the huge commotion with Risa and Saehara.

Yoshimi searched everywhere for Daisuke. She even asked nearby teachers whether they have seen him or not. She kept thinking that he might have left the school but his bag was still at class and - hint of feeling - that he was still in school but somewhere... sort of hidden from the world. She sighed; giving up on finding him.

She turned around and noticed a stairs. She remembered going down the second floor to the first floor so she took the stairs and climbed up. Having her mind filled with what she was dying to say to Daisuke, she reached a different area than she remembered... it was the rooftop.

And there he was... clad in the same school uniform as she was. She stared at him and noticed his amethyst eyes glazed against the sunlight. He stared at her before looking back down to a blue book and flipping through the pages; leaning against the railings of the viewing window.

"You again..." he mumbled.
"... You... What're you-" she paused before squinting her eyes and noticed the book looking awfully familiar to her, "HEY! GIVE THAT BACK! THAT'S PERSONAL PROPERTY!"
Dark grinned and looked over to her, "Ah ah ah... Thieves don't know the true meaning of personal property..." he hold up the diary above Yoshimi's head.
Yoshimi growled, "Grr... give it back!!" trying to grab hold of the diary.
Dark laughed, "And what will you do to me if I don't?" he paused and grinned, "Call your mommy...?"
Yoshimi grinned, "I can hook you up with my sister!" she paused and winked sweetly at Dark, "She's crazy about you...!"
"Thanks... but my dating schedule is full already..." he paused, "It's nice to know that she is crazy about me and such and that makes 1 more fangirl on my list!"
Yoshimi stared at him, "Oh... But... give it back to me... please?"
"Only if you go me one favour!" Dark smiled.

Yoshimi stared at him. What else did he want anyways? He already stole loads of things from her and he asks for a favour?!

"Alright..." Yoshimi sighed, "What is it?"
"Apologise to Daisuke for hurting his feelings and never to go near Satoshi Hiwatari, that creepy blue b*****!" he laughed.

Yoshimi gasped inwardly. She DID hurt his feelings but... hurt as in accusation hurt or... but... how did he know about the arguement?

"How did you know about... fine..." she paused and looked around, "I was actually looking for him but I couldn't find him anywhere..." she sighed.
Dark smiled, "Actually, you've already found him but you just don't realize it..." he paused and tossed the diary onto Yoshimi's hands, "Heh..."
Yoshimi furrowed her eyebrows, "... I already found him...? But-"

He was gone... in thin air...

Yoshimi stared at the open area before looking down to the diary. She sighed and walked down the stairs towards her class; paying very close attention to her surroundings as well. Stepping inside her class from the back door, she walked up to Riku who was listening to loud music to ignore the loud squealing in the class.

"Hey... hold on a sec..." she walked back up to her sister and gave the diary to her, "Ne... got your diar-"
All the girls in the class stared at her - including her sister, "You met him just now?!"
Yoshimi stared at her and slowly nodded as the girls stared harder at her with wide eyes- "DID HE SAY ANYTHING ABOUT ME!??!?" her sister glompaged her hard as Yoshimi gasped.
"Ehhh..."
"Your diary has his scent on it!" squealed one of the girls as Murasaki leapt up and inhaled the scent, "Ahhh..."

Yoshimi slowly crawled out from the squealing mob; hearing another wave of squeals about a black flower and how Dark seemed to have a thing for her sister. Yoshimi smacked her hand to her head and joined Riku to listening loud music. Daisuke managed to come back to class and after a few minutes of lecture from the school's principal, everything was back to normal and horribly awkward for Yoshimi and Daisuke - since they sat side-by-side in class.

Afternoon came and everybody left the school except for Daisuke who was on cleaning-the-class duty. Yoshimi, however, was called for other school stuffs so she was held back for the same time as Daisuke. Knowing that Daisuke was held back for duty, she quickly finished up her paperwork and hurriedly ran back to class to meet up with him. Thinking that he was still inside, she stepped in.

"Niwa-" she paused almost immediately, "... Nai..."

She suddenly heard hurried footsteps at the hallway as she peeked out and saw familiar red hair walking past the corner towards the school gate. She gasped and closed the two doors of the classroom before running out of the school. She looked around and found Daisuke walking out of the gates.

She smiled with relief, "A-Ano! N-NIWA-SAN!" she called out.
Daisuke might have heard her since he walked faster to get away from her, "Niwa-san! Matte!" she called out again but he kept on walking faster.
Yoshimi stared at him as she took a big step and grabbed hold of his hand gently; stopping him from walking any faster, "... Matte..."
Daisuke glanced back; his red fringes hiding his eyes, "E-Eto..." Yoshimi blushed as she released his hand almost immediately, "G-Gomen..."
Daisuke pulled his head back and looked down; still waiting, "... What do you want...?" his voice was dry but firm.
Yoshimi looked down; playing with her fingers, "Look... about this morning..." she paused and shut her eyes, "I'm sorry... I'm sorry for accusing you of stealing... I'm sorry for blowing up at you... And... I'm sorry for hurting your feelings..."
Daisuke just kept quiet; still looking down and having a frown to his face, "... I-It's okay..." he finally spoke as Yoshimi looked up, "Y-You didn't... h-hurt... my feelings..."

Yoshimi stared at him; didn't Dark just said that Daisuke was hurt because of what she said? Then... why isn't he-

"You don't really have to apologise again..." he spoke softly; turning his head a little bit to face her.

Again...? What does he mean?!

He was about to walk away when Yoshimi stopped him, "D-Demo... N-Niwa-san!" she paused, "I... I don't even know if I'm forgiven..."
Daisuke slowly turned around and peered up to her; showing her his dull red eyes, "Ohh... but you're already forgiven, my dear!" an eeried voice hovered above them as Daisuke growled.

Yoshimi turned around and saw a huge yellow ball coming towards her. She was about to run away when someone grabbed her and rolled over to the middle of the road. She winced; feeling tiny stones poking her skin. She heard a loud growl from above as she opened her eyes and turned her head around to see dark violet hair.

"... Anata-"
"DDAARRRKKK!!!" the same voice yelled as he sent another yellow ball towards them.
"IIE!!!" Yoshimi screamed as she shut her eyes... but feeling nothing as she opened them back again and saw a dimished yellow ball and a purple screen encircling them.
"... D-Daijoubu?" a familiar voice whispered to her ear; it was Dark...
Yoshimi winced, "Un..."
"GIVE ME THE ANGEL HARP, UEHARA!!!!" the white-winged man yelled as he slowly concentrated and formed a huge blue energy ball.
"Damnit-"
"Kyu...?" a cute squeal replied as Yoshimi and Dark looked up to see Wizu cutely seated on the sidewalk.
"Wizu!" Dark smiled, "Help us, boy..."

Wizu smiled and immediately changed into a black - uhm... thing and held onto Dark's back. Pulling up, the white-winged man sent the blue energy ball exploding to the road below them. Yoshimi shut her eyes and held onto Dark tighter; fear of falling.

"Take us back to the Ueharas, Wizu!" Dark spoke.
"Kyu!" Wizu replied with a deep voice as they flew above the neighbourhood.
Yoshimi slowly opened her eyes and stared at Dark; wearing the same thing he wore when she met him at the rooftop... it was Daisuke's uniform.

Reaching there was a disaster, everybody who saw them were chasing after them and taking pictures of him. Yoshimi had to close her legs in fear of perverts staring what's under her skirt instead of what's holding her up from falling.

"I have a balcony!" Yoshimi suddenly spoke up to Dark, "It's safer you put me there...!"
Dark stared at her and nodded as they slowly landed at the balcony, "... Sure you're alright? No bruises?"
Yoshimi placed her bag down to the floor, "No..." she slowly looked up, "How come you're here...? I mean... you... saving me...?"
Dark smiled gently at her, "Did you apologise to him...?"
Yoshimi's eyes widened as she immediately looked down, "... He... he said that I don't need to apologise again..." she paused, "He said I didn't hurt his feelings... But you-"
"Well... he was wrong..." Daisuke suddenly met her widened eyes.

Ohayou!! T___T well, to be honest... i am supposed to be studying right now but noooooo... i just had to have the craving to type a story of D.N Angel. o_o;;; me and Rika-chan had the same hooked up thing in our minds... except that Rika doesn't know what she's hooked up on. ^^;;;

Anyways, I'll be re-writing an RP both of us made and this time... it won't be too long because there'll be a sequel! XD

Right then... here we are!! Oh!! And i'll be typing the ending cuz' the RP we had didn't have an ending... again.. -.-''' anyways... here it is!

= Lost Time =

Sometimes when things happen - and for a reason - we'd always ask for more time so that more moments will happen especially for lovers or those who are going to be separated due to some changes in one's daily routine. Thus, we began to regret that particular moments we imagine don't happen and why...? Well, to make it simple... We didn't make it happen. We expected so much things to happen and in the end... it turns out to be harsh, horrifying and almost bloody.

So, there's the day that changed my life. My whole heart... It was the day that Kira Yamato left - well... almost left me.

Here's my story...

The day was getting dark because of the huge rainclouds began to form above me and the sun was almost immediately hidden with no moment to spare. I sighed and crosses my arms. Kira was supposed to be here before me-

"... Dare...?" somebody hugged me from behind as I turned my head around.
All I saw were saddened amethyst eyes staring back at me and the weak smile he used to greet me - something's wrong...
"Hey there, Yoshimi..." he spoke softly.
I tilted my head with curiosity as he stroked my hair gently, "Something the matter...?"
Kira shut his eyes and looked down, "Sadly... yes..."
I smiled gently and held his hand, "Wanna talk about it...?"
Kira's body shook and my curiousity grew, "I don't have much time I'm afraid..."

I furrowed my eyebrows. What is he trying to say? I don't get it. When he told me to meet me, he said there's something important that he wanted to tell me and he sounded... well, pretty solemn and hurt. Somehow, he's trying so hard to hide something from me and maybe this is the - hopefully - perfect time to tell me about it.

I gave his hand a tight squeeze, "... What is it...?"
Kira looked up to me; his amethst eyes glazed with pain, "... I'm leaving for a mission and my parents have claimed total custody on me..." he paused and looked up to the dark sky, "I may not return from that mission..."
I stared hard at him; feeling my heart thumping as he continued, "... And even if I do..." he cried silently and peered into my eyes, "I will not be allowed to stay here with you..."

I was lost. I still don't get it. Why is he telling me this? I thought he hated his parents and would do anything to stay away from them! How did they have custody of him when he's far away from them?! I was furious but also... hurt.

Rain started to pour and faint thunder was heard from behind me. Will we end... right here... right now? I stared at him with disbelief as he looked down; his chocolate fringes hiding his watery-amethyst eyes. He was crying...

"I guess... this is goodbye..." Kira spoke shakily.
I stared harder at him, "Oyy... can't your parents... you know..." I brushed away his wet fringes, "Reconsider or something...?"
Kira peered up to me, "No. How could they when your parents doesn't want me to be around you?" he grabbed my cool hand gently, "Your parents told me that I am no longer welcome in their house because I keep putting you in dangerous situations..."
"... But..." I was in pain.
"... Besides..." he managed to choke out, "Your parents said that they wanted to move to let you start anew..."

I shook my head furiously. How could they do this to me?! They didn't mention any of this to me! At all...! They didn't tell me anything about moving or not letting Kira stay in my house! How... Why...

I was dumbfounded as I shut my eyes, "They didn't want you to know..." he paused as he cupped my cheek, "Because it'll hurt..."

Tears were welling up in my eyes; I felt as if my heart was cracking and I prayed that all this would go away... all this would just be a dream and nothing more! Please... make this go away...

His hand slowly wrapped a cool metal around my neck as I opened my eyes slowly and looked down; it was a gold necklace, "Think of me whenever you look at my last gift to you..."
I look back up to him, "Kira..." I pulled him to a warm hug, "I don't want you to go...!"
Kira smiled gently and hugged back, "But it'll be better if I do..." he smiled weakly, "Hey... maybe there is someone out there who is better than me..."
I shut my eyes and cried on his shoulder, "B-But... there's... no one..." I managed to choke out.
"Don't say that... the ones who always claim that there will be no one for them will be the one who falls in love first..." he smiled gently.
I opened my eyes and rested my head on his shoulder, "What kind of mission... are you going to... that you wouldn't come back..."
"I have to plant a bomb in PLANT Faction..." he paused, "And I may not have enough time to get out so I may just get blown up with the whole colony..."

At that point, my mind went blank. Darkness filled me. What I felt was something unexplainable. Words couldn't form from my mouth and my heart seemed to stop beating against my chest. Why is he doing this? Why is he sacrificing his life?! Doesn't he care about me if he dies?! This can't be happening...

I pulled away almost immediately and stared at him, "Y-You can't be serious..." I paused and sobbed, "How could your parents just... let you do that?"
Kira laughed hollowly, "My parents doesn't care about me! They treasure my sister more than me..." he paused, "Besides... I volunteered for this mission..."
I was taken aback in disbelief, "You... volunteered...?" I shook my head; tears falling from my eyes, "W-Why...?"
Kira looked down, "After your parents broke the news that I am not welcomed anywhere near you anymore, I told myself that I'd rather die than suffer from the insanity of not being able to feel your breath against me..." he paused and shut his eyes, "So if life is so cruel, I don't find it worth living..."
"But... no... Kira... I'll talk to my parents, okay?" I paused and gave him a shaky smile, "I'll tell them to reconsider..."
"Forget it..." he paused and placed a cool hand to my shoulder, "They can reconsider all they want but I... I have made up my mind..."
I shut my eyes again, "I don't want you to die..." I choked.
Kira smiled gently and peered up to me, "... And I don't want to see you in danger anymore..." he paused and walked away in the heavy rain, "I don't want... to live this life anymore..." he spoke softly to the cold but crisp wind.

I was shaking. Shaking with fear and such loss that I want this to end. I want someone to end my pain. I don't want to suffer lonliness as will Kira during the mission. I don't want him to die just because of what my parents said to him! If he dies... what will become of me? Will I... change the course of my future? Will I change history and end my life whenever I want...? Will I even see him again if he lived...?

I shook my head and ran up to him; hugging him tightly from behind, "... Then if you think our separation is the only solution..." I cried to his damp shirt, "... Make sure you get out safe... So I know you're alive... then watching the TV and seeing you dead..." I choked out.

There was an eerie silence. All I could hear was the raindrops falling to the asphalt and the thunder roaring behind us. His heartbeat was faint and slow. His body heat was faltering as his body began to shake. He was in pain too...

"... Please..." I cried; my voice muffled by his shirt, 'I don't want you to go... not now... More time... please...' I thought to myself.
He glanced to me as I slowly looked up to him; tears silently falling from my dull blue eyes, "No... this is for your own good..."

I was about to protest when he suddenly flinched and threw me off him. My eyes widened as I felt the hard asphalt to my back. My hair was plastered to my wet face. I could feel the searing pain flowing in my body as my limbs shook in pain. He threw me... he would never hurt me...

... Never...

Kira's eyes were glazed with crystal tears as he looked down to his shaky hands, "Please... stop thinking about me..." he cried, "We weren't meant to be... I knew it all along... Just forget about me..." and he ran off into the thick rain.

All I wanted was to let him know that he has my fullest support to his mission. I wanted to wish him good luck and to tell him that I'll always pray for his safety.

I cried and slowly stood up.

I didn't want him to go... just yet...

"... Bye..." I choked and ran along the other side of the asphalt.

I knew from then that my happiness was gone. Deep within my heart... he will die. He left me because of my parents. He left me because of the dangers he's causing to me... He left me because he wants me safe by staying away from me... He left me because he still loves me...

... Why...

Why can't he stay...!!!

* The next day *

It was hectic yesterday - packing everything and I mean everything just to move to a new house across Shinjuku. As usual, my sister, Murasaki had loads of things inclusive of her posters of several boybands and her CDs that she bought with her money. My brother, however, also packed his CDs and bishoujo posters but also his personal stuff like his photos of me and my sister and his old school - inclusive of his past girlfriends and teachers.

I sighed and looked out the car window; noticing a buzz of houses outside my window. They were terraces - beautiful if I might wanna add. All of different colours and seemed to be brand new. No corrosion to their paint and the windows were gleaming against the rays of bright sunlight. I sighed heavily when the car came to a slow stop at a beige-painted house. Hara impatiently floated from my hands and floated out of the car.

"WAAHHHH!! DIFFERENT!! DIFFERENT!!" the blue ball squealed.

I smiled lightly and stepped out of the car; smelling in the fresh crisp air. I stared at the bright neighbourhood; there's still something missing... Kira...

I immediately shut my eyes; preventing my family from seeing traces of my hidden pain. I should be happy that he left with good reasons and because my father had a great promotion. I sighed and looked over to my brother who was standing at the opposite side of the car.

"Ahh... this is life..." he smelled the air.
Murasaki stared at him, "What? Smelling the huge ton of rubbish you're standing side by side at...?" she laughed and scooted away from Kouji.
Kouji's eyes widened as he kicked the rubbish away, "Yayyy!! You saved our lives from smelling the horrible garbage!! Murasaki clapped sarcastically when all of us suddenly heard a squeak.
"Ehh... I'm so sorry!" Kouji apologised panicly as he glanced over to a girl.
Her face was red with anger, "ARE YOU THE ONE WHO THREW THAT RUBBISH BIN AT ME?!" she was covered with rubbish and had flies hovering above her head.
My brother apologised again, "I am so sorry..."
Murasaki piped in, "In other words... he did... you must be our new neightbours!" she held out her hand, "We just moved in..."
The girl sweatdropped but shook her hand anyways, "Actually, I live far away from here but I was just passing by to get some stuff from the store in my school..." she smiled, "Watashiwa Harada Riku!"
Murasaki smiled, "Ohh... gomen... Atashi wa Uehara Murasaki... this one here..." she pointed to my brother, "Is my older brother... Uehara Kouji... and that one there..." she pointed to me as I turned my head away and carried the boxes towards the house, "Is my younger baby sister... Uehara Yoshimi!"

I wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone just yet. I was just too... I don't know... felt horrible. Embarrassed and filled with such isolation that I wanted to stray away from people for awhile. I didn't want to be rude to anyone but it's not my time to interact yet I guess...

"Will she be transferring to the local school here...?" Riku asked.
My father smiled gently as he carried a huge box, "Definately..."
Murasaki smiled and noticed Hara perched on her shoulder, "Oh... and this one here is Hara... out uhmm... family pet...!"
Riku smiled, "Ohh..." she glanced over to my mother, "Do you need any help?"
My mother smiled, "It'd be wonderful to have an extra hand around here..."
"Great!" Riku smiled and began to help out.

Everyone was bustling in and out of the house and up the stairs and down the stairs. I kept straying away from Riku and family communication but Riku just couldn't leave me alone! So she called to me and asked me why I was looking so gloomy. I tried to shut my mouth but that would sound very rude so I told her that nothing is wrong with me. I guess she might think that I was uncomfortable with her from the way she stopped talking to me and kept on helping out. But something unusual began to interests me... and also took my mind away from thinking about Kira.

My brother was carrying a small box up to the rooms when he suddenly fell down the stairs and rolled back down to the living room. The box crashed to my back and fell beside me. I furrowed my eyebrows and opened it to find an odd looking object. It was some sort of a violin but made of glass.

"... Kaa-san..." I paused and looked over to my mother who was settling some stuff in the kitchen, "What's this violin doing here...?"
She peeked out from the doorway then back in, "Ask your father...!"
I sighed and looked down to the violin, "I didn't know your family was the owner of the Angel Harp..." Riku spoke up as I looked over to her.
"Angel... Harp...?" I repeated when suddenly, my father spoke up with a bright smile.
"You know about it...?" he smiled to Riku as he wiped his hands with a cloth.
Riku nodded, "The Angel Harp is the only violin on Earth that is made out of glass," she paused, "And it costs more than 20 million... I learnt it in History class..."
My father laughed gently, "Really... my boss gave this to me."

Riku stared at my father. I sighed and gently placed it back inside the box, "Well... better not mention this to anybody then..." I smiled weakly to her and stepped outside to carry more boxes.

That was when did we meet another neighbour by the name of Emiko Niwa and her son, Daisuke Niwa. She began chit-chatting with my mother while Daisuke kept pressing on that he wanted to help me carry the load. I insisted that he doesn't but he ended up carrying them with ease. I sighed and went back down the stairs; passing by my sister who carried the box that held the Angel Harp inside, to our room.

Then, something fell to Murasaki's head, "Ara...?" Daisuke gasped and hurriedly grabbed something from her head and stuffed it inside his bag, "I swear I thought there was something on my head..." she touched her soft honey hair.
Daisuke weakly smiled, "Oh, I think it was just a speck of dust..."
Kouji laughed, "Must be your ageing days... YOU HAVE WHITE HAIR!!"
Murasaki's eyes widened as she whapped my brother up, "I AM NOT AGEING AND I DO NOT HAVE WHITE HAIR!!"
Daisuke laughed as he squashed his backpack to the wall, "Naw, I don't see this chick having any white hair-" he gasped and smacked his mouth, "Err... I mean... she doesn't look old!" he smiled weakly again.

I furrowed my eyebrows and stared at Daisuke when he suddenly zoomed past me and to his mother. Without any second to spare, both of them were waving their hands and walking away. Not only did I hear their goodbyes but also a dark voice echoing in my ears as Daisuke looked over to me.

"I'll be back..."

I raised an eyebrow at him; he's weird...

"I won't be expecting anybody..." I whispered to myself.
